The challenge of current waiting lists for elective procedures is clear and this conference will discuss practical strategies and solutions for meeting demand, ensuring safety post Covid-19 and creating clear accountability for elective recovery and improving productivity. At this conference we will discuss new models for delivering increased activity including supporting trusts and clinical teams to work together across Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) to eliminate variation and embed recognised best practice, patient scheduling and prioritisation, optimising theatre utilisation and performance and developing the role of the independent sector.
