Bads Day Surgery Team Nov 2025

As part of the government 10 year plan there is a major focus on reducing the amount of time patients are waiting for their operations. We know that the key to achieving this is by increasing day surgery delivery, a dedicated, knowledgeable, multi-skilled day surgery team is essential to the success of this.

This national conference aims to provide support for day surgery teams, by reviewing the underlying principles of good clinical practice at each stage of the day surgery pathway, and looking at when it is acceptable to question traditional practice. The conference will consider how the day surgery team can contribute to successful development of new day surgery pathways and inform development and innovation of multi-skilling within the day surgery process.
