BADS Council oversees the charitable aims of the Association - the promotion of excellence in day-case and short-stay surgery via its educational activities.
Council membership categories for which applications can be invited are for ordinary and 'taster' Council members. The number of vacancies for the former varies annually depending on the number of Council members coming to the end of their tenure. However, two 'taster' membership positions are available each year.
In 2022 none of the ordinary Council members will come to the end of the 3-year term, so we are only inviting applications for the two 'taster' membership positions.
