"Busting the Myths of Day Case Arthroplasty" Chairs: Karen Harries & Sarah Stapley Back
Our session will provide insight and useful information for Day Case Arthroplasty Pathways within a District General Hospital, outside the setting of a formalised Day Case stand-alone Unit.
It will consist of presentations from orthopaedics, anaesthetics, senior nurses and orthopaedic trainees with up-to-date experience on delivering appropriate pathways including set up. In addition, there will be significant opportunity to ask direct questions to panel members from the BOA and BADS as well as Allied Health Care Professionals.
