Congratulations and a warm welcome to BADS new President, Dave Bunting, Consultant Upper GI Surgeon, North Devon District Hospital. Back
He joined the BADS Council as a trainee representative in 2016 and edited the Journal of One Day Surgery until 2021. Whilst he’s been waiting in the wings as BADS President-Elect in the preceding two years, he has been a great support and has been busy working on educational projects including the Virtual Learning Environment programme with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and writing the Day Surgery module for the Royal College of Surgeons of England Postgraduate Certificate in Surgery.
With all this experience BADS will be in very capable hands.
