I'm so excited about my role and aim to continue and build on BADS achievements under Kim's presidency in raising awareness and the practice of day surgery for patient benefit.

As President Elect, I will be looking to support Jo in her role as President. I aim to develop a strong vision of how BADS will develop day case surgery for patients in the UK and how BADS will continue to offer value for money, support and benefits to its members.

It has been an incredible two years and I am delighted that more people are now aware of day surgery and BADS and that membership has almost doubled.
